"Ecology and Environment is an environmental consulting firm which provides engineering and environmental support for wind, solar, geothermal, power generation, electric transmission, and other sustainable energy development.

"For example, the company has provided professional services for developers in 200 wind energy projects in areas such as permitting and project planning.

"With hydropower, the company is conducting the most comprehensive Brazilian hydropower assessment study ever undertaken.

"With coal, the company is part of a team working on a project in Jamestown, NY seeking to develop new 'clean coal' technology by injecting residual carbon dioxide into deep geologic formations where it is permanently sequestered.

In the company’s latest reported third quarter, sales increased 39% to $38 million from $27 million in the third quarter of last year. EEI reported earnings per share of $0.43 (including a one-time tax settlement net gain of $0.25) in the latest reported third quarter versus $0.03 in the same quarter of last year.

"Clients of Oberweis Asset Management own approximately 50,500 shares. These shares may be appropriate for risk oriented investors."
