Nicholas Vardy is part of the Eagle Financial Publications group of financial advisors. He is best known as "The Global Guru" for his expertise in international investing.

Mr. Vardy has been a regular commentator on CNN International, appearing on The Other Europe and World Business Tonight over 50 times. He has also published articles in The New Republic, The World and I, and The Baker & McKenzie Legal Review.

The Global Guru/Nicholas Vardy has been cited in Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Fox Business News, CBS Marketwatch, Yahoo! Finance and MSN Money Central. He is a regular sought-out speaker at the Money Shows.

Mr. Vardy graduated from Stanford with a B.A. -- with honors and distinction -- in both Economics and History, and he also earned an M.A in Modern European Intellectual History. After winning a Fulbright Scholarship, he earned a J.D. degree at Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Harvard International Law Journal.

In 1997, Vardy earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, becoming one of the fewer than 100 attorneys in the United States to do so.

Mr. Vardy is founder of the London Junto (www.LondonJunto.com), a monthly gathering in the heart of London's hedge fund community, where leading London hedge fund managers and investment professionals meet to debate the investment issues of the day.

The London Junto regularly attracts investment managers who represent more than $40 billion of hedge fund assets, and the Junto has quickly gained a reputation as the most sophisticated investment forum of its kind in London.

When not uncovering investment opportunities for his subscribers and investors, Vardy is a keep-fit enthusiast, a squash player and an avid student of classical music.
